Occupational Therapy Assessments (OT)
Occupational Therapy assessments evaluate a client’s
occupational performance in the areas of self-care, productivity
and leisure. Through task analysis and objective testing, as
required, the assessment identifies barriers to a client’s
ability to perform normal daily activities: personal care,
mobility, homemaking, paid/unpaid work, as well as pursuit of
leisure activities. It may also involve recommendations for
further treatment or provide alternative strategies to optimize
the client’s functional performance.
